1. Who we are
Meet You There ("the Service") is provided by Kirsten Wollan, a sole proprietor based in Norway ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, you are entering into an agreement with Kirsten Wollan.
2. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or continuing to use Meet You There, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
3. What the Service is
Meet You There is a gentle, self-guided digital tool to support people in moments of emotional eating. It offers a pause, a breathing exercise, an emotion check-in, and small suggested actions. It is a wellbeing and self-help tool only. It is not medical advice, therapy, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified health professional. If you are struggling, please reach out to a doctor or mental health professional.
4. Eligibility
You must be of legal age in your country (or have parental consent) to use the Service and to make a purchase. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you will not: (a) use it for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to defraud us or other users; (c) infringe anyone's intellectual property; (d) attempt to probe, scan, scrape, or interfere with the security or integrity of the Service; or (e) introduce malware or harmful code.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, copy, design, and branding, is owned by Kirsten Wollan and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, resell, redistribute, reverse engineer, or circumvent any technical limits of the Service.
7. Service availability
We work hard to keep the Service available and pleasant to use, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available. We may update, change, or discontinue features at any time.
8. Payments and refunds
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and related mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our own refund terms are described in our Refund Policy.
9. Warranty disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or incidental damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law (such as for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence).
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay amounts owed, create a security or fraud risk, or repeatedly violate our policies. You may stop using the Service at any time.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of Norway, unless mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence give you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
